The Atmosferas da lã .is an exhibition that associates the Danilo Pavone’s pictures, Italian photographer living in Serra da Estrela region, to the Helena Maria Loermans’ textile and artistic creations, a researcher in cell biology and Dutch medium analyst, native of the Netherlands, living in Alentejo

Opening times: 19th December 1999 to 31st January 2000, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9.30 to 12.00 and from 14.30 to 18.00.

Enigma | Sílvia Vale

Panorama of Silvia Vale’s work characterised by themes of the eternal feminine and the “journey” to the “other side of time”, that is registered in the feminine lyric.

Amostra de Conchas | Nuno Abrunhosa

Shells Show

Shells show from the private collection of the malacologist Dr. Nuno Abrunhosa. He begun the collection in Timor, between 1967 and 1969 and it is possible to admire samples of five from the seven existing classes in which the molluscs can be divided in, being the gastropods and bivalves the most significant number.

Itinerâncias | Cândido Teles

Exhibition of a set of 25 mixed techniques and a monotype from the painter Cândido Teles, native of Ilhavo. They are included in the Section “The Stones and the Men”, result of his working visit to Serra da Estrela, in Beira Interior.

Illustration exhibition under the theme Interiorities. created by an Italian plastic artist, living in Portugal with strong bonds to her culture to some religious values and symbols of the Jewish community of the interior of Portugal and, specially, Beira Interior
