Study Visits

 

The Wool Museum organises guided tours for the schools or for groups and organisations that demand it.
 
The aim of these tours is to make the Wool Museum known, as well as its different nucleus, the textile industry history and the industrial patrimony, especially Covilhã´s.
 
The tours will be followed by a group responsible who will have to request previously the booking of the tours. Each group must not exceed 25 people.
The guided tours are made according to the opening time established for each one of the nucleus.  
 

The Documentation Centre/Archive . also offers study visits for schools or groups and organisations that demand it. They have the aim of promoting the sensitisation of the preservation importance and the safeguard of the archive patrimony, making its mission, equipment and the documents treatment cycle known. The tours can take place from Monday to Friday, in the morning or in the afternoon, within an agreed schedule. Each tour last a 1h30
